Google Officially Recognizes Me as a Writer
When You Seach me on Google I appear as a Writer on the Top Results
This article is completely written by humans aka me, no AI.
This one is going to be a short one I just wanted to share that I’m officially recognized by Google as a Writer.
You might say what a narcissistic thing to do, to check out yourself on Google, but before you do I was sent that as a screenshot haha.
It might not be something that interesting or cool to most of you but for me, it’s something really awesome.
After years of blogging and being online, when someone searches for my name they can see that I’m a Writer as said by Google.
The same way it shows up for J.K. Rowling for example, which is my favorite writer ever!
What Does it Mean?
Well, let me explain to you first what it is to begin with. In technical terms I guess, it’s called a knowledge panel.
Basically it’s an information box that appears when you search for a specific place, person, or organization.
These are created automatically and Google uses reputable sources to provide a short summary of what you searched.
I’ve already claimed that panel as mine and I can make suggestions or edits on it if needed, but they have to get approved.
In a way basically knowledge panels are Google’s way of summarizing information about various queries you might have.
The picture it’s a bit funny cause the second link is from LinkedIn and there you can see that I’m working as a Software Engineer haha, but still writing is my soul and I’m not giving up on it.
Ever since I made writing, secondary and there’s no pressure for me to write I feel better about writing and more free in general.
It has been a while since I felt this way about writing and I’m glad about it.
Closing Thoughts
This was something unexpected and really cool to have happened to me and I’m glad for it. I do feel that writing is my thing, and I consider myself a writer especially now that I’m working on my novel.
For those wondering, Shadows of Ravenshore is coming later this year I’ve had some delays but I’m still working on it!
Stay tuned, loads more cool writing content is coming your way.
